I'm Lo! Nice to Meet You! 

Hi! I’m Lorita Shaw, MBA a Senior Data Engineer, the Founder of Data Analytics, Simplified® a career-launchpad platform built to help everyday professionals develop real, job-ready analytics skills and confidently transition into data roles. I'm also the lead SQL instructor. 

I didn’t start out in tech. I was working in spreadsheets, cleaning data, and building reports long before I realized I was already doing analytics. Once I learned SQL, everything changed I gained clarity, confidence, and the ability to truly own my work.

Over the past 13+ years, I’ve led analytics initiatives across industries including bioscience, insurance, and clinical research, progressing into senior, six-figure roles and ultimately into data engineering.

Today, through DAS, I teach SQL, Power BI, and Excel with a hands-on, real-world approach supported by career development, alumni outcomes, and practical application.

My mission is simple: to make analytics understandable, accessible, and life-changing for people who never thought they belonged in tech.

Meet Your Excel Instructor: Shida, Excel Systems Pro

Shida brings over eight years of experience managing Management Information Systems (MIS), with hands-on expertise in more than three MIS platforms and outreach software tools tailored to the nonprofit and housing services sectors. She has supported over 40 organizations and 300+ users across a continuum of care, driving improvements in data accuracy, timeliness, staff effectiveness, employee retention, and professional development including mentoring bachelor’s-level staff who later earned master’s degrees in data analytics. She is deeply rooted in Excel and uses it daily to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and conduct data analysis that informs decision-making and supports a more coordinated system of care.

Paige A. Nelson is a dynamic analytics and business intelligence leader, entrepreneur, and founder of Will+Ford, a boutique analytics consulting firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Leveraging her dual degrees - a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology and a MBA in Financial Analytics - Paige designs and implements advanced reporting systems, predictive models and data visualization tools to elevate business intelligence capabilities. Refund Policy

Course Refunds:

  • Full Refund: If a participant cancels their enrollment at least 7 days before the course start date, they are eligible for a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: If a participant cancels within 3 to 7 days before the course starts, they are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • No Refund: If cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the course start date, no refund will be provided.
  • Transfer Option: If a participant is unable to attend a course, they can request to transfer their enrollment to a future session at no extra cost, provided the request is made before the course begins.
  • Missed Classes: No refunds are offered for missed classes, but participants will have access to course recordings if applicable.
